The Need Project

The Need Project aims to support people in central Bedfordshire and the surrounding area that are in poverty or financial hardship in such ways as the Trustees from time to time think fit, in particular, but not exclusively, by providing food packages to support individuals and families who are experiencing food deprivation. We only take referrals from statutory bodies or recognised community groups and are not able to take self referrals. Buttle UK has a small grants programme which provides essential items such as beds, cookers and washing machines to families living in hardship. Applications to this programme must be made through a referral agency. Individual & Families fund (British Gas Energy Support)

Our Individual & Families fund is open to anyone with an energy debt between £250 and £750.
