Ask for ANI – Find your local pharmacy

The Government has launched the Ask for ANI (Action Needed Immediately) domestic abuse codeword scheme to help victims access emergency support from the safety of their local pharmacy. When someone experiencing Domestic Abuse or Sexual Violence uses the codeword in the pharmacy, a member of staff will take the victim to a private room (‘Safe Space’) where they can help them call the police, domestic abuse helpline or a family member, friend or perhaps even a solicitor. You can use the link provided to find your nearest pharmacy that operates safe spaces. You can then go there and ask a member of staff to speak with Ani - or if Ani is there. Someone will assist you quietly and discreetly. N/A  https://uksaysnomore.org/safespaces/
